We empower and educate children, parents, and teachers at The Little School of Greatness located in Nicaragua and The Little School of Inner Wealth in Costa Rica.

Our mission

To strengthen and transform the lives of children, families, and teachers in the Americas by cultivating their inner strength, confidence, and resilience through education and the implementation of the Nurtured Heart Approach.

the current situation…

Many people - especially women and children - face conditions of great disadvantage, with a large portion of the population lacking access to education or even essential health services. This reality is intertwined with social distortions such as domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, addiction, anxiety, and mental health challenges. The Nurtured Heart Foundation is committed to offering practical tools that contribute to healing cycles of generational trauma and supporting the emotional well-being of communities, creating healthy environments where every person can fully thrive and, in turn, share their gifts with the world.

    We want to provide support and access to education so that 1,000 students can graduate, developing resilience, confidence, and the NHA tools for life.

  • Empowering 250 teachers with NHA

    We equip educators with NHA training that enhances and elevates their professional journey, making it more fulfilling, sustainable, and deeply impactful.

  • BUILD FIVE NHA SCHOOLS BY 2028

    We’re cultivating a community of communities - dedicated to empowering children and teachers across the Americas and expanding our school network into emerging learning hubs.

WHERE WE ARE - SUMMER 2025

Milestones That Inspire & Fuel Our Mission:

  • More than 450 children and their families have benefited in Nicaragua through La Escuelita de la Grandeza .

  • Classes for adults designed to support literacy and practical skills development.

  • We worked with NHA in 25 rural communities without electricity or schools.

  • More than 300 parents have received NHA training.

  • New NHA school in Costa Rica opened in 2025, serving local and refugee families with comprehensive programs.

  • 200 active students and more than 55 teachers trained in NHA

  • Comprehensive education that combines academic subjects, art, music, sports, self-regulation, and life values.

  • Nutritional support with lunches and snacks for all students.

  • More than $450,000 invested directly in programs, fair wages, nutrition, physical, mental, and emotional health, school supplies, and supportive infrastructure.

  • Over 14,000 volunteer hours - rooted in care and dedication, uplifting lives, and growing a movement from community need.

  • An active network of volunteers and collaborators committed to community well-being and transformation.
